Hi Zone peeps,
I was wondering who's playing fantasy football this season? I'm a newbie to it, and I'd really like to connect with other blind slash visually impaired folk who are seasoned players so I can ask questions and such.
Right now I'm on Yahoo sports. So far I like that accessibility has not been a big issue for me. In fact, I'm quite pleased. However, I'm curious about other blind players and if Yahoo is the only option for a blind slash visually impaired person, or are other fantasy football sites pretty blind-user friendly.
Anyway, hope to hear from some people. Thanks
Natalie
I have been playing fantasy for years. I have a league that I run that is hosted on myfantasyleague.com which is a paid league management service. I pay for it out of our league dues. It works pretty well with a screen reader. There are a couple of things that are a little weird, but I've found ways to work around them. As far as free fantasy hosting goes, yahoo seems to be the most accessible one in my experience. You have to disable the drag and drop feature of course, but it seems to work ok otherwise. I haven't looked at any of the other free ones in awhile to see about accessibility. ESPN used to be horrible. I suspect it still is based on what they've done to their website. I used Foxsports for a couple of years, but they messed it up where I couldn't use it anymore. I have a lot of fantasy experience and I'd be glad to answer any questions. Good luck with your team.
i've not done it for ages.
used to do it a lot, and only a few days ago i got reminded of my old acount on 1 of the sites- lol i really need to get back in to it!
it's a lot of fun
